Some of my favorite things in the world are Chubu’s Folds that smell like bread, and Soffia Coppola’s perfect movie, Lost In Translation. Every time I go to Japan ( 26 times now ) I try to watch it on the plane. I never get tired of it and the way it brings back the first time I went Japan in 2003, right after the film came out. For Fresh Baked Bread Fold Times, make it Chubu time.

I loved illustrating a series of images for the cover and inside of the UNIVERSITY of TAMPA'S Alumni Journal magazine. The overall story was health on campus and that smoking was being phased out and exercise would be encouraged. 

A collage spread of illustrations of Italy and some of the famous landmarks for an unpublished ROLEX advertising campaign. I really craved my favorite walnut pasta from Roma while drawing one of my favorite countries!

It was a super fun job working with Penn State on illustrating the cover for their alumni magazine as well as 1 full page, 2 half pages and 4 spots for the funniest alumni memories. The piece was called "Dorm Life" and the cover and interior Illustrations ran for Penn State Magazine's November / December 2014 issue.

A project for PSFK to incorporate custom large hand drawn line work and paintings into their "Future of Home Living Experience" in New York City. The exhibit took place from July 23-Aug 15th, 2013 on the corner of 15th and 6th ave.

I was honored to participate in an online auction of Artist's Emas to benefit 3.11. Emas are Japanese Prayer plaques that people write their wishes, hopes, and dreams on and then leave them at Shrines for the spirits to receive them. I hope our dreams came true and the suffering and pain in Japan was eased just a bit. GANBATTE Japan, I love you!

I'm proud to release MY PASSENGERS with my good buddies at Fire Maple Games. We worked long and hard to make an APP that kids would love discovering fun and silly characters and the noises they make. And we wanted to put a few alarm clock noises in there but we did not. You're welcome parents. ;)

This was a personal piece I made in late 2001. In a small way I wanted to come to terms with 9-11 and it's effect on my home, friends, and myself. 

As a child I grew up near N.C. Wyeth's family in Pennsylvania and his painting (The Giant) hung in the dining hall of my school. I never knew how lucky I was to grow up with such inspiration so close and to be surrounded in a peaceful environment with wonderful people. After 9-11 I took solace in thinking back on more simpler times and wanted to pay homage to my friends, school and the hope of our future. 

Moving forward I can see the new One World Trade from our Brooklyn roof completed above the Manhattan skyline. It brings hope and excitement yet I will always remember The Giants and a New York and life in simpler and more innocent terms.

175 original ink and painted cards to be dispensed by the "Gutai Card Box" at the "Gutai Splendid Playground show" that ran at the Guggenheim in spring 2013. The "Gutai Card Box" payed tribute to the original from the Japanese exhibition in 1962 .The visitors would be dispensed "art" and the Guggenheim wanted to recreate this activity along with work from the original 1962 show. A big thank you to the Guggenheim for letting me partake in this event.

A Super fun mural job for DIGIDAY, NYC to decorate their large office hallway with popular Memes in their company colors. I probably learned more from this job about popular culture than in my whole life x3. Thanks DIGIDAY!
